One of the top ten technology trends for 2010 identified by Gartner is ‘Cloud Computing’, otherwise known as Software as a Service (SaaS) or Application Service Provision (ASP) over the internet. This enables the provision of computing services from distributed resources (including hardware, processing engine and application software) over the Internet, and can remove problems of scalability for consumers of the services.

The software solutions we offer in Asia are all next generation systems. They have been designed specifically to be run in-house or as an ASP / SaaS configuration. For example, the front office trading system pdv-DECIDE was designed specifically as an ASP / SaaS system, and currently runs several brokers’ trading in Germany hosted at Deutsche Börse.
