FAQ
What is Serisys all about?
Our mission is to accelerate the retooling of the capital markets in China, Japan and the rest of Asia with next generation, proven, world-class software platforms.  Our solutions will allow the Chinese capital markets to leapfrog the legacy IT issues of its western counterparts.
Which software solutions do you represent and why?
Our three core solutions are pdv-DECIDE, Solace Systems and Syn~. We only supply next generation solutions. See “SOLUTIONS” tab on the red bar above for a list of these.
Do you provide ASP (Application Service Provision) solutions?
All the solutions we represent are capable of delivery through ASP or SaaS (Software as a Service). We partner with either our customer’s preferred supplier, or with the leading data centre infrastructure providers in Hong Kong for this service.
Are you a consulting firm?
No, we are an IT services firm. We do not actively solicit consulting assignments because we are not vendor neutral. We implement and provide front line support for the solutions through our staff who are highly trained and experienced in these solutions.
Do you own the intellectual property of any of your solutions?
This is not part of our business model. We prefer to partner with world class software providers.
Would you represent our solution? We are not currently represented in Asia.
We are always willing to consider a solution that fits within our mission and vision and which does not compete with our existing solutions. Do not hesitate to contact us if you think there is such a fit, however we are not currently searching actively for complementary solutions, in order to control better our rapid company growth.
Can I work for Serisys?
See our Careers section for details. With our rapid company growth, we are actively seeking dynamic and bright IT people with a financial services background.
Where did you get the name Serisys?
The name Serisys, or 思新 in Chinese and Japanese means ‘New Thinking’. ‘Ser’ in English means ‘Chinese’ as well as ‘of silk’. We supply next generation systems. See here for further details.
