Serisys is a young and ambitious company with a meaningful mission to retool the capital markets industries around Asia with the latest technologies. Our founders since our incorporation on July 4th 2006 have carefully shaped a vibrant and supportive culture. My colleagues and I have drawn on our IT corporate experience in major investment banks and top consulting firms to instill only the best of the elements of these into our values and our way of working. In our services business, we find it important to hire only the brightest people with the right attitude. All of our talented team are trusted to perform to their very best, and they respect each other highly for their complementary skills and experience.

You will doubtless work long hours from time to time, especially when tight client deadlines loom. You will be expected to work out a problem yourself. However, one common trait and an important value we share is that we will always go out of our way to help each other, knowing that this will assist Serisys in reaching our common goal of exceeding our clients’ expectations.

Our next generation solutions incorporate latest technologies and platforms such as Java, JMS, SOA, Cloud/Grid Computing, and is central to Serisys’s business strategy. This offers you the chance to put into practice what you learned at university. Moreover, each partner has a commitment to remain at the leading edge for competitive reasons. For example, in Syn~ the business and technology layers are completely divorced in its design, so that each layer can be replaced or upgraded without affecting the other. Indeed aspects of Syn~ have been migrated to newer technologies several times as new open standards become more widely practised.

Upon joining Serisys you will be trained in one or more of our products. New joiners are often twinned with more experienced colleagues for on-the-job training and mentoring. Many of our staff have been sent on training at our partners’ offices for weeks or months in Europe and USA soon after joining. After training, you could find yourself very quickly for blocks of time on assignment in Japan, China, or Singapore where we have clients or projects.

We understand that a meaningful career path is an important factor in selecting an employer. Our culture rewards talent and contribution, and we will always give additional responsibilities to those who are ready and who will grow from the experience. The variety of projects available arising from our various IT solutions that we deliver allows team members to opt, if they prefer, towards either technical work or business analysis, towards front office or back office focus, and towards pre-sales support, mission-critical client delivery or live production support. Each has its own challenges and offers opportunities for learning about our clients’ challenges and developments in their industries.
